Theme: "Intensity and Hazard Rate"

Jump processes are a powerful tool to model random phenomena and are used for example in neuroscience, actuarial science, survival analysis, etc. Recently, there has been a regain of interest for these objects that are characterized by their intensity, or hazard rate, which is a possibly random function. This workshop is dedicated to the study of this function and to some applications.

Participation is free of charge but registration is compulsory. For the lunch break the number of participants is limited to 50.

Organizers: Fabienne Comte (Paris Descartes), Céline Duval (Paris Descartes) et Marc Hoffmann (Paris-Dauphine).
